Got my dead scoot back at the weekend and so it's time to either sell the old girl on or break her down to her component parts.

2005 GTs250 on and 05 plate. Approx 15,000 miles on the clock.
The usual (very) minor scratches and slight rust to the bodywork but other than that she's solid as a rock.
No dents or cracks in the body work.
# Note: The left hand side panel trim is badly scratched from bouncing about in the back of the van!! Undecided

Now the bad news - the engine is completely dead - deader than a Norwegian Blue in a Monty Python sketch!!
The crank has seized in the crankcase and there are shards of brass floating around in the oil sump - most definitely not good news according to Roger @ TASS! That said, someone with a bit of money and time may be able to rebuild what was once a reliable engine!

She'll suit someone who's stoved their scoot in but has a decent engine to transplant into the old girl.
So if you're after a new frame this could be for you.

All the trick bits are NOT for sale (screen, black mirrors, custom seat, top box) - you'll be buy a bog standard GTs250.
Also NOT INCLUDED in the sale is the rear carrier - I'm keeping that to go on my new 300
All the graphics / stickers etc will be removed.

If you want the complete scooter make me a sensible offer. I'm off on my hols' for ten days starting Wednesday 28th July, but if you want to contact me my email is: bryan1967 @ smtwtgh .co .uk (don't include the spaces - these are here to deter autobots sending me junk mail).

If I don't get any interest for the whole scoot by the time I get back from holiday I'll stick her on ebay and if still no interest I'll be breaking her down.

Scooter is in Maidstone

Bryan
